Tulips are one of my favourite flowers, and I always associate them with spring. I painted these tulips as a celebration of May, when gardens and flowerbeds begin to fill with their beautiful colours.
I wanted to capture the simple beauty of tulips in bloom and the feeling of spring that comes with them; fresh, colourful and full of life.
