Lily Jasmine

Hi, I'm Lily Jasmine. My work is inspired by the human experience; how we feel, how we think, and how we connect to each other and the world around us. I'm especially drawn to memory, emotion, and the inner world, and I use my work as a way of trying to hold onto those fleeting feelings and observations.

I mainly create acrylic paintings, which I use to build up layers of colour, depth, and atmosphere. Alongside this, my sketchbook plays a big role in my practice. It's where I draw from life, capture moments while travelling, and make smaller, more immediate observations using pencil and watercolour.

After completing a degree in Psychology, I spent two years living in Italy. Being surrounded by the landscape, architecture, and slower pace of life had a big influence on my work, and I still return often, which is why many of my sketches and paintings are inspired by places there.

I'm currently based in London and working as a full-time artist. My work has been shown in group exhibitions, including a fundraising exhibition for Palestine and a festival showcase.

My pieces are available as original works and prints, and I also take on commissions.

Thank you for being here and taking the time to look at my work - it really means a lot.
