I painted these tulips because I couldn't stop admiring how beautiful they looked at different stages of their lives. One tulip has only just begun to bloom, full of fresh possibility, while the other is reaching the end of its flowering cycle, its petals opening wide before they fall.
I loved the contrast between the two. They're a gentle reminder that every stage has its own kind of beauty. This painting celebrates growth, change, and the quiet elegance found throughout nature's ever-changing seasons.
